When the ancient Kingdom of Great Zimbabwe was the biggest trading hub of Southern Africa the Ndoro was used as a form of currency but also became something the women wore as jewellery. The more Ndoros your wife wore the higher in status you were presumed to be!
We are so lucky to have such an ancient and rich African history to draw from for our jewellery designs!
