Chantelle Hopewell

Chantelle Hopewell is a multidisciplinary artist and designer living in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa.

She is inspired by the ocean and by the abundance of sea life that gathers where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.

Her most recent work is ink based. In her process she use fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol- based inks which have flexible, free flowing and impressionistic qualities.

This movement and the unpredictability of the medium enhances her expression of the subject matter.
