Keith Zenda was born on 19 June 1985 in the rural areas of Chirumanzu, Zimbabwe. He discovered his talent at a young age of six years old. He bacame a full time artist in 2003 and he is a self taught artist. Keith Zenda paintings tells a story about African lifestyle socially, economically and politically. He is more inspired by his rural background.

Keith Zenda is a multiple awards winner on painting and recently he was nominated twice for the
NAMA AWARD
on 2D category and on 19/08/2021 he won an Award
FOR JOB WELL DONE IN THE MORGAN &,CO ARTSPIRATION 'MASKED' ART COMPETITION 2D CATEGORY at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare

Some of his awards are :
First prize- FREEDOM REVISITED EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION
Second prize-FACET ZIMBABWE NOW EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION
First prize - BLACK LIKE ME EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION in South Africa

Keith has also done a Solo Exhibition in South Africa titled African Chronicles in 2018 and currently he has another Solo Exhibition titled Bold and Beautiful at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. He has also done some group Exhibitions locally and Internationally and sold some of his art works to international art collectors.
Now he is establishing an Art Gallery and studio at Makepesi business center, LowerGweru and an Arts and Culture Center in Shurugwi near Musasa Junction. In 2017 Keith Zenda started a Mentorship program at a grassroots level mentoring the disadvantaged rural artists and urban artists also
empowering the girl child and those with disability through art.
